The COVID-19 Compliance Officer is the primary person for anticipating, mitigating and monitoring potential COVID-19 exposure risks at union and non-union production worksites from before the call to after wrap. Because of the extreme importance of protecting personnel and talent in production environments, high levels of focus and attention to detail and safety are mandatory. COVID-19 Compliance Officers often start out earning from $400-$700  per 10-12 hour day up through COVID-19 Compliance Supervisor of multiple worksites and projects, earning from  $800/10-hour day up to $1150 or more per 10 or 12 hr day. These figures vary based on the size of the production, number of personnel, locations, industry format and other variables. Regardless, the role is not one to be taken lightly because lives and livelihoods are (still) at stake.

Description

Description:   This new title replaces the COVID-19 Compliance Officer title and covers COVID and non-COVID safety practices. This online course is designed to train entertainment industry personnel in general health safety compliance monitoring and enforcement protocols for film, TV, streaming and live exhibition productions. Participants will learn best practices and protocols for health, safety and risk mitigation. NOTE: While the COVID-19 emergency has been declared to no longer be a pandemic, many productions still require that health and safety protocols are in place.

This training embraces the original recommended guidance and mandates of, among others, the unions, US Department of Labor/OSHA,  CDC, World Health Organization and a variety of state and local mandates and reputable experts in infectious disease and epidemiology. We strive  to update guidance and new information as it becomes available.
