THE A.D. WORKSHOP Move up the ladder from Production Assistant to Assistant Director! Learn the role and responsibilities of the 1st, 2nd and 2nd2nd Assistant Director's. Tackle: AD paperwork, how to schedule a shoot day, successful talent movement, working with directors and talent, the AD lingo, location and set protocols, keeping a production on schedule, getting work and much more.... Those attending will have an opportunity to do a nonpaid internship on at least one production. Should have some prior production experience. Certificate to all grads. Topics include: the production team, lingo, wages, working conditions, tools of the trade, set protocol, ethics, workflow, production paperwork, getting work and more. Workshop grads will have the opportunity to perform a nonpaid internhip on at least one production.
