Online Workshop Introduction

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR WORKSHOP
Take the Leap! Move up the ladder from Production Assistant to Assistant Director! Learn the role and responsibilities of the 1st, 2nd and 2nd2nd Assistant Director's. Topics include: A.D. paperwork, scheduling a shoot day, successful talent movement, working with directors and talent, the lingo, production protocols, keeping a production on schedule, getting work and much more.... Those attending will have an opportunity to do a nonpaid internship on at least one production. Should have some prior production experience. Certificate to all grads. Advance payment is required. Sample production forms and handouts are included.

FOR MOTION PICTURE MAKEUP WORKSHOPS
This workshop will be held in late February, 2012 in Chicago. More information will be available in late December, 2011.
Fee: $300.

NOTE:  Workshop payments are refundable minus a 25% cancellation fee, if the cancellation is received in writing at least 48 hours before your workshop first meets. If cancellation is received with less than 48 hours written or emailed notice, only a credit will be issued for a future workshop. Credits expire one year from the cancellation date. Qualifying refunds will only be issued back to the original payment source and to the original source of payment.

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT WORKSHOP 
This workshop is designed for those wanting to work behind the scenes on film, video and broadcast projects beginning at the ground up. Topics include: the production team, lingo, wages, working conditions, tools of the trade, set protocol, ethics, workflow, production paperwork, getting work and more. Workshop grads will have the opportunity to perform a nonpaid internhip on at least one production. Handouts are included.  Reservations are required.  A certificate is issued to all who complete this workshop..

MOVIE EXTRAS WORKSHOP 
This seminar is for those wanting to work, or get more work, in front of the camera, starting out as a movie extra and then moving up to more featured roles. Topics include: headshots , casting myths, preparing a talent resume, what to expect at the casting call and audition and what is expected of you, talking the lingo, set protocol, getting work and more. Taught by a veteran producer and casting director. Certificate of completion to all.  Also great for parents wanting to get their children in front of the camera. Plenty of resources and handouts.

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR WORKSHOP
An intensive, nuts and bolts, hands-on workshop on setting up and running a seamless and top notch motion picture production office and coordinating the all-important aspects of any production, regardless of the size or budget. Topics include: production paperwork; travel, critical office needs, working with crew and talent, production files, reports, payroll, deal memos, contracts, crewing and more! Handouts, sample forms and more are included. Certificate of completion to all grads! Small class format. If you have a laptop, bring it.  Some production software is included and will be loaded on in class.! (Mac/PC)
