THE A.D. WORKSHOP
Move up the ladder from Production Assistant to Assistant Director! Learn the role and responsibilities of the 1st, 2nd and 2nd2nd Assistant Director's. Tackle: AD paperwork, how to schedule a shoot day, successful talent movement, working with directors and talent, the AD lingo, location and set protocols, keeping a production on schedule, getting work and much more.... Those attending will have an opportunity to do a nonpaid internship on at least one production. Should have some prior production experience. Certificate to all grads. Reservations are required. Sample production forms and handouts are included.

This workshop is designed for those wanting to work behind the scenes on film, video and broadcast projects beginning at the ground up. Topics include: the production team, lingo, wages, working conditions, tools of the trade, set protocol, ethics, workflow, production paperwork, getting work and more. Workshop grads will have the opportunity to perform a nonpaid internhip on at least one production. Handouts are included.  Reservations are required.  A certificate is issued to all who complete this workshop..

MOVIE EXTRAS WORKSHOP 
This seminar is for those wanting to work, or get more work, in front of the camera, starting out as a movie extra and then moving up to more featured roles. Topics include: headshots , casting myths, preparing a talent resume, what to expect at the casting call and audition and what is expected of you, talking the lingo, set protocol, getting work and more. Taught by a veteran producer and casting director. Certificate of completion to all.  Also great for parents wanting to get their children in front of the camera. Plenty of resources and handouts.

PRODUCTION MAKEUP WORKSHOP
Offered since 1991 and taught in Chicago and Houston. Intensive, hands-on workshop for current and aspiring makeup artists wanting to get work in the motion picture industry on movies, commercials, TV, music videos and industrial shoots. Topics include: professional products, tools of the trade, motion picture makeup application, character design, lighting and color relationships, production protocols breakdowns, department paperwork, getting work and more. Nonpaid internships are available for graduates.

Bring your brushes. Once you have registered and paid, you'll receive a workshop schedule showing what will be covered each day.

Fee includes handouts and the use of in-class supplies. A Certificate is issued to each person completing the full workshop. Plenty of in-class practice. Some workshops require you to bring a model for practice. Advance reservations are required as class sizes are limited. Includes t-shirt!

Learn tips, techniques and procedures for working as a hairstylist on film, video and TV productions.This hands-on, intensive workshop provides the tools for you to take your hairstyling services to the next level and transition your skills to the motion picture industry where the rules are different. Topics include: Tools of the trade for the hair department, the workflow, what products to always have and which to never bring, working with lighting and color, production paperwork, timing, continuity, working with nmakeup artists on productions, motion picture resume, working with talent and crew on all levels, getting work and much more. Fee includes: handouts and a list of work resources. A certificate is issued to all who complete this workshop. Small class format. Graduates have the opportunity to perform a nonpaid internship on a production to help build your resume.

Qualifying refunds will only be issued back to the original payment source and in the form originally paid.
